Here's my review:
This movie was great. I remember years ago watching it and not really understanding it or liking it because it just really didn't feel like anything to me, but I decided to give it another chance today and give it a watch. I'm glad I did. The movie isn't just your average horror movie. Yes it still has the same jist they all have where it's that nothing is as it seems, but it doesn't do It in the same way. It slowly introduces you to the horror, and it's not a full horror movie until the very end. It starts off as sort of a psychological horror esc. She goes into the other world and she's interested by it. It seems like everything is good and wonderful until they bring up the buttons. Once they offer to keep her forever she realizes the horror of the place and that moment struck gold. Usually in horror movies, the horror is revealed by showing the entity, but this movie reveals that we've known the entity all along. Slowly it's revealed that the other mother is the antagonist and it builds an insane amount of tension that really kept me hooked. This isn't just a movie, it's a masterpiece.
Side note: but really, this is now in my top 5 movies of all time. It's not even like ADHD talking this is genuinely an amazing movie. I'll probably even philosophize about it soon.

Am I just going insane?
